Affectionately known in Japan as “Ni-Go-Maru” (Japanese for “250”), the Azden 250 Series is a collection of four professional XLR shotgun microphones, each designed with a particular video application in mind.
Full-Sized Sound in a Compact Package
Azden designed their short shotgun microphones so to preserve a full-sized acoustic barrel. Which means you can expect the same focused pickup and side-noise rejection.
Frequency response, dynamic range, and low-noise performance are equal as well, since all of Azden’s 250 Series are equipped with the same high-quality microphone element.
A shorter overall length of just 6-inches is achieved by including a conveniently attached, professional-grade output cable, which moves the male XLR connector outside the body of the mic, and eliminates the need for a rigid, female XLR connector to stick out of the end of the mic.
